Design inspired by McLaren
Bowers & Wilkins has developed the Px8 S2 McLaren Edition in partnership with McLaren Automotive and the McLaren Formula 1 Team. It features McLaren’s Papaya orange alongside Anthracite Grey, and bears the Speedmark logo on the headband and earcups. Diamond-cut edges on the logo plates and soft Nappa leather cushions add a luxurious touch.
Sound quality and performance
The headphones feature upgraded 40mm Carbon Cone drivers with redesigned components for improved detail and stereo imaging. Noise-cancelling technology minimises background sound without compromising music quality. Wireless playback is supported by Qualcomm aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless, along with Bowers & Wilkins DSP, providing high-resolution audio at 24-bit / 96kHz.

Everyday features
Listeners can manage the headphones via the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Features include adjusting transparency mode, monitoring battery life, setting wear sensor sensitivity, and personalising the Quick Action button. A five-band EQ permits sound adjustments with saved presets. The battery lasts up to 30 hours, and a 15-minute quick charge delivers 7 hours of playback.
Partnership with McLaren
Bowers & Wilkins has worked with McLaren since 2015, supplying audio systems for its supercars. The collaboration reflects shared values of precision and performance, extending to McLaren’s Formula 1 Team. The Px8 S2 McLaren Edition continues this partnership, combining audio engineering with motorsport design.
