McLaren Artura MCL39 Championship Edition Revealed: Limited 10-Unit Production Run

12 wins & 10 world titles result in this limited-edition McLaren Artura Spider. Only 10 Ten cars will be built, and they’re all sold out!.

McLaren Racing steamrolled the 2025 season: 12 wins from the first 15 races, relentless consistency across every continent, and a Constructors’ Championship wrapped up with six races still to run.

That made it McLaren’s historic 10th Constructors’ title. Some may call it luck, while some might say they nailed it. But there’s no hiding the fact that McLaren displayed proper dominance, the kind last seen when MP4s ruled Sundays with Ayrton Senna & Alain Prost behind the wheel.

What is the MCL39 Championship Edition?

It’s McLaren turning a title-winning Formula 1 season into something road legal and extremely limited. Officially, it’s the MCL39 Championship Edition, commissioned exclusively on the McLaren Artura Spider and limited to just ten examples worldwide.

This isn’t just another limited-run car with a special badge and a press release to support. This is a bespoke MSO livery, created specifically to celebrate the MCL39 F1 car and the season that re-established McLaren as the benchmark.

Does the exterior design reflect the championship car?

The livery is hand-painted, not wrapped, with sweeping graphics across the bonnet and doors that deliberately mimic motion. It’s McLaren trying to create the visual equivalent of DRS open on a qualifying lap. Myan Orange takes centre stage, contrasted sharply with technical Onyx Black, all sitting on Gloss Black wheels. It unmistakably resembles McLaren’s F1 car, but is more aggressive and more intentional in trying to tell a story.

What makes the interior special?

This is where the MCL39 Championship Edition turns into the most expensive memorabilia created in honour of the 2025 F1 season. The carbon fibre sill panels are signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. These are real signatures, permanently etched.

Inside, orange embroidery on the headrests frames the number 10, surrounded by ten stars for each Constructors’ title. There’s also a bespoke plaque listing the 2025 season’s wins, poles, and fastest laps.

Why base it on the Artura Spider specifically?

Because the Artura Spider is McLaren’s most complete modern supercar. Built on the McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture, it pairs a twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor for a combined output of 690hp and 720Nm.

It weighs just 1,457kg dry, hits 330km/h, and delivers the kind of balance that McLaren has always done better than almost anyone else. Roof down or up, this thing feels properly engineered and lab-made, just like all high-performance McLaren cars should.

The Artura’s hybrid tech traces its DNA back to the P1 and Speedtail, not eco experiments. Instant torque from the e-motor, all-out shove from the V6, and zero dilution of driver engagement. This is a hybrid done the McLaren way: faster exits, sharper response, and no apologies to petrolheads.

Who is this car really for?

For collectors who understand the importance of a limited-edition supercar signed by F1 drivers. For fans who know why Myan Orange still carries weight. And for anyone who recognises that championship-winning moments don’t come around often, even for teams like McLaren. Unsurprisingly enough, all 10 units of the car are sold already!
