Mercedes-Maybach presented its latest luxury creation, the regional debut of the SL 680 Monogram Series, at an immersive experience held at La Cantine Beach on Bluewaters Island in Dubai. The event brought together VIPs, luxury enthusiasts, and prominent figures from the worlds of fashion and art in an atmosphere inspired by the elegance of the French Riviera.
International model and entrepreneur Jessica Michelle Kahawaty hosted the evening. At the same time, global music producer Jonas Blue added his signature touch with an exclusive concert, creating an experience where musical luxury merged with the iconic Maybach world.
The brand’s exhibition will run for six weeks, offering a specially designed space that celebrates Maybach’s high-quality sensibility. Guests had the opportunity to explore the entire Maybach lineup, including the GLS, S-Class, and EQS SUV, as well as the flagship, the SL 680 Monogram. An exclusive display of the MAYBACH Icons of Luxury collection and select pieces from Kahawaty Jewels were also featured.
The new SL 680 is Maybach’s first two-seater convertible, embodying the brand’s vision of combining sporting performance with handcrafted masterpieces. The model reinterprets the iconic SL character with a refined Maybach touch, offering interior and exterior design options including the “White Ambience” and “Red Ambience” concepts, as well as more than 50 exclusive MANUFAKTUR paint colours.
Its meticulous details are highlighted by an illuminated radiator grille with chrome accents and carefully integrated MAYBACH lettering, along with a hood available in Volcanic Black and a monogrammed Maybach Grey finish. Rose gold accents within the headlights add a new level of luxury, while the sound-insulating soft top features an elegant Maybach pattern. The monogrammed design flows seamlessly from the exterior to the interior, where passengers are enveloped in crystal-white MANUFAKTUR Nappa leather, silver-chrome detailing, and Maybach’s signature floral seat quilting. Power comes from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with the 9G-TRONIC transmission and rear-axle steering for enhanced agility.
Following this distinctive debut, Mercedes-Maybach continues its journey in Dubai with a series of luxurious experiences.
