Manhart MH7 700: The V12 BMW 7 Series Resurrected

The MH7 700 turns the previous-gen BMW M760Li into a 711hp luxo-barge that reminds everyone why twelve cylinders still matter.

Why Is The MANHART MH7 700 Such A Big Deal?

V12 luxury saloons may be going extinct, but Manhart clearly didn’t get the memo. The previous-generation BMW M760Li represented the end of an era. Large V12-powered  luxury saloons were once the ultimate statement of engineering excess and opulence. Today, tightening emissions rules and electrification have quietly pushed them toward extinction.

That’s exactly why the MH7 700 exists. Built by Manhart Performance, it’s a celebration of the big-engine limousine formula. Instead of downsizing or electrifying, Manhart doubled down on what made the BMW M760Li special in the first place.

How Powerful Is The V12 In The Manhart MH7 700?

Under the bonnet sits BMW’s legendary 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12. In stock form, the engine already produced around 610hp and 800Nm, which is hardly what you’d call modest. Manhart’s upgrades change the equation entirely.

A turbo upgrade paired with the brand’s MHtronik tuning module pushes output to 711hp and 1,050Nm! That’s enough power &  torque to embarrass quite a few sports cars when the chauffeur takes the day off. The power bump comes from a combination of revised turbo hardware and software optimisation.

There’s also a stainless-steel Manhart exhaust system with valve control, paired with sports downpipes and 200-cell catalytic converters. The result is exactly what you’d expect from a tuned V12: more urgency, a deeper soundtrack, and a luxury saloon that suddenly behaves like it’s possessed.

Are There Design Changes On The Manhart MH7?

Visually, Manhart has kept things relatively restrained. The car rides on 21-inch Concave One forged wheels finished in Gunmetal Grey. Carbon fibre accents add a subtle performance edge. A front spoiler lip, rear lip spoiler, and carbon mirror caps sharpen the look, while the optional black Manhart decal set keeps the aesthetic understated rather than shouty.

Does The Interior Still Feel Like A Proper Luxury Limo?

The interior has been completely retrimmed in brown and beige leather, with detailed stitching and embroidered Manhart logos throughout the cabin. Matching Manhart logos round off the changes inside the cabin.

Why Does This Car Matter In Today’s Market?

The new generation of the BMW 7 Series leans heavily toward electrification and more efficient engines. Its most powerful trim is powered by a V8, which does offer great performance and impressive technology, but the outrageous V12 theatrics are gone.

That’s why the MH7 700 is so appealing. It takes the last-ever V12 7 Series and turns it into something that still offers limousine comfort while packing the kind of punch capable of humiliating unsuspecting performance cars. The MH7 produces 174hp & 300Nm more than the V8-powered current gen  760Li. That’s a statement alone should convince you on why this car matters in today’s car market.
