Louis Erard has launched the 2300 Chronograph Sport. It is a tri-compax chronograph, housed in a Grade 5 titanium case and powered by the Valjoux 7750, a renowned automatic chronograph movement. It is available in three dial versions, each limited to 99 pieces.

2300 is a reference to the zip code of La Chaux-De-Fonds, Switzerland – the birthplace of Louis Erard. It also hints at what is yet to come from the brand.

The three dial versions are Rainbow, Blue and Khaki.

Our Thoughts

Three attractive dial versions, housed in a grade 5 titanium case with a comfortable FKM rubber strap, and powered by a dependable movement. Affordable, and rarity guaranteed as well, as each version is limited to 99 pieces. What is not to like?

Based on images and supporting information, Louis Erard has done a remarkable job of individual colours and details on dials and hands on each version. The Grade 5 titanium case will ensure lightness and the FKM rubber strap will provide immense comfort. Ownership will be stress free, as the Valjoux 7750 can be easily serviceably by competent watchmakers worldwide. The 2300 Chronograph Sport is a fun watch of immense value, and a welcome addition to any collection. My favorite is the Khaki version.
