Strengthening Network from Kraków
Part of LOT Polish Airlines’ network growth strategy is to offer more route options from Poland’s regional airports. The latest development on that front is the confirmation of three new routes from Kraków. The list includes nonstop connections to two Spanish cities, Barcelona and Madrid, as well as the Italian capital, Rome. All three routes are scheduled to go live on March 30, 2026.
Kraków-Rome Connection
LOT Polish Airlines has planned to operate five weekly flights between Kraków and Rome during the summer season, and four services per week during the winter period. During the former, flight LO2141 will depart from Kraków at 09:45, while the return service, flight LO2142, will leave Rome at 12:45. Both sectors will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The only difference during the winter season will be the absence of the same service on Tuesdays. The airline will deploy a Boeing 737 MAX 8 jet to ferry passengers.
Four Weekly Flights to Barcelona
The Polish national carrier will operate four weekly flights between Kraków and Barcelona throughout the year. Flight LO2163 will depart for the capital of Catalonia at 07:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and at 16:45 on Fridays and Saturdays. The return leg, bearing flight number LO2164, will depart for Kraków John Paul II International Airport at 16:45 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and at 20:35 on Fridays and Saturdays. A Boeing 737 MAX 8 will transport passengers to and from their destinations.
Almost Daily to Madrid from Kraków
LOT Polish Airlines has announced plans to offer a nonstop service between Kraków and Madrid six times a week. Flight LO2161 will depart from the Polish city at 15:10 on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 16:10 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and at 19:25 on Fridays. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft will begin its return journey, bearing flight number LO2162, at 19:35 on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 20:35 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and at 11:50 on Fridays.
Full Year of Operation at Kraków
LOT Polish Airlines will offer up to 11 destinations during the summer of 2026. The newly announced three routes from Kraków will see an additional Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft stationed at Kraków. In its first full year of operation, Kraków Airport will offer more than 250,000 extra seats for travellers on nonstop services to Madrid, Barcelona, and Rome. Tickets for all three routes are now on sale through all authorised airline sales channels.
