Priced at Rs 3.78 lakh ex-showroom, the ‘R’ sits below the Adventure model.
What is the KTM 390 Adventure R?

The 390 Adventure R is KTM’s off-road iteration of its popular 390 adventure platform. Inspired by KTM’s Dakar-winning big bikes, designed for riders seeking rally-esque capabilities. It features a taller stance, longer-travel suspension, and lightweight spoked wheels. Launched globally in 2025 and now officially available in India via Bajaj-KTM.
What type of suspension setup does Adventure R boast?
The KTM 390 Adventure R shares the same setup as the 390 Eduro R, which means it features a 43mm USD WP adjustable suspension unit at the front with 230mm of travel and an adjustable WP rear monoshock unit with 230mm travel. The suspension overall offers more travel and length than the regular 390 Adventure. This setup is targeted to exploit hardcore off-road centric capabilities of the 390 Adventure platform.
What about brakes, tyres, and wheels?
Braking duties fall on a 320mm front disc with ByBre 4-piston radial calliper and 260mm rear disc with 2-piston calliper, complemented by cornering-sensitive Bosch’s switachable and off-road mode ABS.

What electronics and features does it pack?
The KTM 390 Adventure R is loaded with adventure centric electronic suite, such as a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, switchable riding modes: Street/Rain/Off-road/Rally modes, MTC traction control, cruise control, USB-C charging port, and an adjustable windscreen. LED lighting with DRLs completes the package.

Colours and design highlights?
The KTM 390 Adventure R is heavily mirrored by KTM’s Dakar challenger, boasting a robust and purposeful design, aiding in off-road adventures. The bike comes only in a single colour spec, i.e., White body with orange frame, rally graphics, and “R” badges. The Aggressive beak fairing, handguards, and skid plate scream rally-inspired tank graphics, exposed frame, all collectively affirm the Dakar DNA.
