Japanese Motorcycle maker Kawasaki has launched the Versys-X-300 for the 2026 model year. The Versys is positioned as the affordable, lightweight, and rider-friendly Adventure tourer from Kawasaki.
For the 2026 Model Year, the Kawasaki Versys-X-300 hasn’t changed much compared to its predecessor — the only change is the new dual paint colour option: Candy Lime Green/Metallic Spark Black, a combination of Green and Black paint scheme with refreshed graphics.

Sitting at the heart of the Versys-X-300 is a 296cc, parallel-twin engine producing 38.8bhp and 26 N · m of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. Kawasaki Versys-X-300 is underpinned by a high-tensile steel frame suspended to a 41mm telescopic front fork with 130mm wheel travel, and a rear monoshock with 148mm wheel travel. The ADV rides on 19-17-inch spoke wheels with tube-type tyres. The longer suspension travel and wheel combination place the Versys-X 300 among the most comfortable tourers in the Mid-size ADV segment.
Braking duties are handled by a 290mm single disc at the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear, aided by Dual Channel ABS. Electronically, the 2026 model stays the same with the same Anti-Lock Braking System and a dated gauge cluster, which doesn’t offer much besides displaying essential ride information. Features like traction control, riding modes, and smart connectivity are aloof.

Kawasaki is offering the Versys-X-300 at ₹3.49 Lakh, which is significantly higher than its competition, but it is a completely built unit, catering to riders who are looking for a motorcycle that feels premium, and at 179 kg, it is among the lightest in its bunch— offering an agile and comfortable ride.
