Huawei’s Launches the Pura 80 Series and MatePad 11.5

Huawei recently held a product launch called “Fashion Next” in Dubai, where it introduced exciting new devices like the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series and the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5. A major announcement was also made: XMAGE will return to the Grand Palais in Paris this year for the “The World, You and Me” XMAGE Awards Ceremony and Annual Exhibition at Paris Photo 2025.

This event highlighted Huawei’s technological skills and its philosophy of improving lives through a mix of advanced technology and human-centred design. The HUAWEI Pura 80 Series caught immediate attention as the imaging flagship with its innovative look and top-quality camera features. The Pura 80 Pro and Ultra models come with a powerful 1-inch Ultra Lighting HDR camera that guarantees sharp clarity and true colours. The Pura 80 Ultra introduces an industry-first Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera, providing amazing flexibility for clear images at any distance. The series also has a unique glazed texture design that combines Eastern and Western aesthetics.

For eager learners and professionals, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 improves user experience significantly. It has a fantastic 11.5-inch HUAWEI FullView Display with 2.5K resolution and a comfortable PaperMatte Display that resembles natural light. Its ultra-thin 6.1mm frame contains a strong 10,100 mAh battery, striking a balance between portability and lasting power.

The updated HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation) now supports magnetic wireless charging, and the tablet includes upgraded HUAWEI Notes and the GoPaint app, enabling users to work, study, and create. Huawei also officially announced the XMAGE Awards 2025, which opened for global submissions on June 11. Now in its eighth year, it has become one of the largest photography competitions for Huawei mobile users. This year’s contest includes eight diverse categories like “So Far So Close” and “A Heartwarming World,” as well as a new “XMAGE 100” format and a respected judging panel. Submissions will be evaluated based on technique, emotion, social relevance, and artistic merit, aiming to showcase everyday users’ creative visions to a global audience. Returning to the Grand Palais for the awards ceremony and exhibition will once again highlight this centre of art.

Through these new products and the global XMAGE Awards, Huawei continues to demonstrate how closely technology is integrated into daily life, strengthening its commitment to creating a more beautiful and connected life for consumers everywhere.
