At EICMA 2025, Honda unveiled its exciting new prototype, showcasing the future of its performance motorcycle lineup with the introduction of the V3R 900 E-compressor prototype. The V3R 900 E-compressor introduces the world to the first-ever electronically controlled compressor paired with a compact, water-cooled 900cc 75-degree V3 engine.
The highlight feature of the prototype V3R 900 is its V3 engine architecture, a rare configuration in modern motorcycles. The new water-cooled 75-degree V3 engine is paired with an electronically-controlled compressor, allowing the engine to have precise control over the compression of the air intake irrespective of the engine rpm. This is a bold new technological avenue that has never been seen before in motorcycles till now.

With the V3 E-compressor engine configuration, Honda is striving to achieve similar levels of power figures from a 900cc engine, which was earlier possible only through a bigger 1200cc displacement engine. built under the “Non-Rail Roller Coaster” concept, aiming to blend exhilarating acceleration with precise control at any speed.
The prototype V3R 900 E-Compressor is the next step in Honda’s quest to achieve its “Honda 2030 Vision.” The vision is to “serve people worldwide with the joy of expanding their life’s potential”, while offering fun yet environmentally conscious motorcycles to its customers.

Aesthetically, the V34 900 E-Compressor prototype is a naked streetfighter, featuring asymmetrical side cowls and Honda’s new “Flagship Wing” emblem set on the fuel tank. Its muscular proportions, vertical LED headlamp, and single-sided swingarm give the bike a strong streetfighter presence.
The debut of the V3R 900 E-Compressor at the EICMA 2025 is a concrete step in Honda’s “2030 Vision.” Honda confirms the prototype is being refined for eventual mass production, making it a signal of what’s next for Honda’s performance range.
