Harley-Davidson expanded its portfolio in India by launching two of its most expensive offerings. The American motorcycle maker introduced the Street Glide CVO and Road Glide CVO for the Indian market. Both motorcycles demonstrate Harley’s ultimate prowess with the Glide and Milwaukee platforms.
In their base form, Harley Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide are ostentatious as they are, but send them through Harley Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) treatment, and it’s a whole different story altogether, with every bit on the motorcycle turned up to 11.
The CVO moniker represents Harley-Davidson’s range of premium motorcycles featuring top of top-of-the-line engines, bespoke electronics and colour schemes.
That brings us to the launch of Harley’s Street Glide CVO and Road Glide CVO in India, marking the expansion of the brand’s Custom Vehicle Operations program into India’s ultra-luxury segment.

The Street Glide CVO enters the Indian market at Rs 63.03 lakhs, while the Road Glide CVO commands Rs 67.37 lakhs—positioning Harley’s two new offerings as India’s most exclusive and expensive touring machines, sitting significantly above standard Harley Davidson models.
Both models, Street Glide CVO and Road Glide CVO, share the same Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine, a liquid-cooled V-twin displacing 1,982cc. The engine produces 115 horsepower at 4,500 rpm and 189 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, with a variable valve timing system.
While both models are mechanically identical beneath the fairing, each model targets different riding philosophies. The Street Glide CVO features Harley’s iconic fork-mounted Batwing fairing—a design that delivers responsive steering and lighter handling.
Whereas the Road Glide CVO employs a frame-mounted Sharknose fairing that prioritises stability and wind protection. This architecture isolates the fairing from steering inputs, reducing fatigue during long-distance touring.
On the technology side of things, both motorcycles feature Harley-Davidson’s Skyline OS, a 12.3-inch touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, built-in navigation, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The audio systems, powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage II technology.

Additionally, rider aids such as cornering ABS, traction control, and electronic braking, Drag-torque Slip Control, Vehicle Hold Control enhancements managed by a 6-axis inertial measurement unit come as standard.
Harley Davidson is offering two different colour options with two different finishes: a clear chrome finish or an all-black contrast. The colour option for the Street Glide CVO and Road Glide CVO includes Copperhead with Chrome Finish and Legendary Orange with Black Finish.
