AGMC, the official dealer of Geely in the UAE, has unveiled the latest version of the Geely Starray, a sport utility vehicle (SUV). The name “Starray” refers to “a galaxy of stars,” reflecting the brand’s focus on the spirit of exploration, adventure, and endless horizons embodied by this model.
This model features a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers smooth response and a seamless flow of power. This high-performance engine generates up to 238 hp and 350 Nm of torque, delivering confident acceleration whether on city streets or over the most challenging off-road terrain. The advanced all-wheel-drive system intelligently distributes torque between the front and rear axles, ensuring optimal stability and control even on sand, gravel, and wet roads.
The Staray offers the widest cabin in its class, thanks to a wheelbase of 2,777 mm. The carefully designed cabin features highly responsive and comfortable seats with airbag technology, a 13.2-inch 2K central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch LCD screen with a head-up display, a premium Harman™ Infinity audio system integrated into the headrests, and ambient lighting that syncs with music. The panoramic roof illuminates the cabin with natural light, enhancing the sense of spaciousness.
The rear seats can be fully folded to provide up to 1,610 litres of storage space, perfect for transporting large gear and adventure supplies.
Safety technologies include Traffic Sign Recognition, Highway Driving Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. It’s complemented by a high-definition 360-degree camera system and a transparent body view, making it easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces and overcome off-road obstacles.
The Starray’s presence is complemented by distinctive Particle Ray headlights and Flying Arrow-design taillights for enhanced visibility. This stylish vehicle is available in five unique colors—black, silver, white, blue, and dark green—with large 20-inch wheels. Geely’s distinctive Energy Storm front fascia highlights the car’s streamlined, dynamic lines, and the elegant rear spoiler on the tailgate provides greater stability at high speeds.
The new all-wheel-drive version of the Geely Starray is now available at all AGMC showrooms across the UAE.
