Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Launched In The UAE: Specifications, Range, And Key Features

Ford has introduced the all-electric Mustang Mach-E GT in the UAE

What does the Mustang Mach-E GT add to Ford’s UAE lineup?

The Mustang Mach-E GT marks Ford’s expansion of its electric vehicle offerings in the Middle East, aligning with the UAE’s long-term plans to increase electric vehicle adoption. Positioned as an all-electric SUV carrying the Mustang name, the Mach-E GT combines electric propulsion with performance-oriented hardware in a single available specification for the local market.
The model is offered exclusively in GT trim in the UAE, simplifying the lineup while emphasising performance and range as its defining attributes.

How powerful is the Mustang Mach-E GT?

The Mustang Mach-E GT is powered by an all-electric drivetrain producing 358 kW of power and 950 Nm of torque. Energy is supplied by a 91 kWh usable extended-range lithium-ion battery, delivering a targeted driving range of up to 419 km.
The battery is mounted between the axles and beneath the floor, contributing to a low centre of gravity. It is housed in a sealed, waterproof enclosure and integrated into a crash-absorption structure for added protection. Power is distributed through an all-wheel-drive system using electric motors at both the front and rear, allowing independent torque delivery to each axle.

How does the Mach-E GT handle different driving conditions?

The Mach-E GT includes several performance-focused components designed to support handling and stability. These include Brembo brakes, MagneRide® adaptive damping, 20-inch summer performance tyres, and an electronic all-wheel-drive torque-vectoring system.

Drivers can choose from four selectable drive modes, each adjusting steering response, throttle mapping, and vehicle behaviour:
Whisper: Softer steering and throttle response for relaxed driving
Active: A balanced mode intended for everyday use
Untame: Sharper responses for more dynamic driving
Untame Plus (GT only): A track-oriented mode for closed-course use, with revised traction and stability control and firmer suspension settings

What charging options and charging times are supported?

For home use, the Mustang Mach-E GT supports Level 2 AC charging at up to 11 kW using a professionally installed wall box. Under these conditions, the battery can be charged in approximately 10 hours, allowing for overnight charging.

For longer trips, the vehicle supports Level 3 DC fast charging. When connected to a 150 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 36 minutes. The Mach-E GT also supports Level 1 charging from a standard household outlet for slower, basic charging needs.

What are the design and interior practicality highlights?

The exterior design incorporates recognisable Mustang styling elements, including a sculpted hood, pronounced rear haunches, signature headlamps, and tri-bar taillights. Despite its SUV form factor, the Mach-E GT retains visual cues associated with the Mustang brand.

Inside, a column-mounted shifter frees up space in the centre console, increasing storage capacity. The cabin can be equipped with a B&O sound system, with speakers positioned across the front of the dashboard. Cargo capacity measures 402 litres with the rear seats upright and expands to 1,420 litres when folded. An additional 81-litre front trunk provides extra storage due to the absence of a traditional engine.

Pricing, availability, and launch details

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is now available in the UAE in a single GT specification. While official pricing may vary by dealer and optional equipment, the model is positioned as Ford’s flagship electric performance SUV in the local market. Interested buyers are advised to contact authorised Ford dealerships in the UAE for final pricing, delivery timelines, and charging equipment options, as availability and specifications may be subject to change.
