What is the Ferrari Amalfi Spider?
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is a front-mid-mounted V8 2+ spider. It balances contemporary sportiness with everyday versatility. Furthermore, the Ferrari Design Studio created a silhouette that remains fluid whether the roof is open or closed. The car also introduces the Rosso Tramonto exterior colour and the Verde Costiera shade. Consequently, the design language remains modern while retaining the elegance of the original Amalfi coupé.



How does the Ferrari Amalfi Spider’s roof work?
Ferrari chose a fabric soft top to enhance the car’s versatile character. Specifically, the roof uses a Z-fold system that operates in 13.5 seconds. You can even use it while driving at speeds up to 60 km/h. Additionally, the five-layer fabric provides acoustic insulation comparable to a retractable hard top. When stowed, the roof is only 220 mm thick. As a result, the car offers 255 litres of boot space with the roof closed and 172 litres with the roof open.

The car features a 3,855-cc twin-turbo V8 producing 640 hp. For this reason, it reaches a top speed of over 320 km/h. Engineers increased the turbo speed to 171,000 rpm to ensure immediate throttle response. Meanwhile, new lightweight camshafts and a redesigned engine block reduce overall mass. The car also uses an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ultimately, this powertrain delivers a 0–200 km/h sprint in just 9.4 seconds.

What is the interior of the Ferrari Amalfi Spider like?
Inside, the cabin features a dual-cockpit layout. This creates a distinct space for both the driver and the passenger. Interaction is managed via a 15.6-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch central display. Also, the passenger has a dedicated 8.8-inch screen showing performance data. The steering wheel marks a return to physical buttons and an aluminium start button. Furthermore, the new Tecnico Ottanio fabric is available for the roof and interior trim.
How dynamic is the handling of the Ferrari Amalfi Spider?
The Amalfi Spider uses the Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1 system to manage all dynamics. For example, it includes a brake-by-wire system and the ABS Evo controller for precise stopping. It also features a rear active spoiler that adjusts between Low Drag and High Downforce modes. In the most aggressive setting, it generates 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. Moreover, the 20-inch wheels are fitted with high-performance tyres for maximum grip.
