Farnborough Airshow: ANA Signs A LOI With DHC

All Nippon Airways Holdings (ANAHD) has inked a letter of intent to purchase seven refurbished De Havilland Canada (DHC) turboprops. More specifically, seven specimens of reconditioned Dash 8-400. This announcement came at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, where DHC officially launched its OEM Certified Refurbishment Program.

Under this initiative, DHC will honour its commitment to “keep the fleet flying” by purchasing, refurbishing and re-marketing Dash 8-400 turboprops. The seven aircraft for ANAHD are part of the program and will join the ANAHD fleet once ready. The aircraft will be configured to reflect ANAHD’s current fleet of Dash 8-400s. The Japanese group has operated DHC Dash 8-400 aircraft since November 1, 2003. To modernise the fleet of the same aeroplane type, ANAHD will gradually introduce the refurbished and under-warranty aircraft starting next year.
