When will Emirates introduce Starlink Wi-Fi?
Emirates plans to start deploying Starlink Wi-Fi on its Boeing 777 planes in November 2025. The full fleet of 232 aircraft will have the service available by mid-2027. Passengers will enjoy complimentary ground-level internet quality aboard Emirates aircraft.
What will Starlink connectivity enable?
Passengers can stream, play games, call, work, and browse social media seamlessly throughout their journey. Connectivity will be available on seatback screens and personal devices, ensuring a consistent experience across all cabin classes. Live TV over Starlink will debut on personal devices in December 2025, and later on seatback screens.

How is Emirates implementing the rollout?
The first Emirates aircraft with Starlink, Boeing 777-300ER A6-EPF, is on display at the Dubai Airshow 2025. Afterwards, it will fly Emirates’ first Starlink commercial route. Emirates plans to retrofit about 14 aircraft per month, starting with the Airbus A380s in February 2026. Each Boeing 777 will have two antennae; the A380 will have three, an industry first, to maximise coverage and capacity.
What does this mean for Emirates customers?
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, called the partnership a defining moment in their’ fly better’ goal, emphasising Starlink’s integration with Emirates’ cabin upgrades. Chad Gibbs of SpaceX said passengers will have the same connectivity quality in the air as on the ground.
The rollout supports Emirates’ broader retrofit initiative, which has already completed 76 aircraft with upgraded Premium Economy, redesigned Business Class, and refreshed First Class suites.
