Dubai-headquartered Emirates presently operates 11 direct flights per day to London, England, across three airports. Bringing that count to 12 will be a fourth daily service to London Gatwick, which will be launched on February 8, 2026.
Emirates flight EK069 will depart from its home hub at 17:05 and land in London Gatwick airport at 20:50. Those travelling in the opposite direction can board the return flight, EK070. That will leave from London Gatwick at 23:55 and arrive in Dubai at 11:00 the next day.
The airline will use a three-class configured Airbus A350 for the newly announced service. That means Gatwick will become the second UK destination for Emirates’ new A350 after Edinburgh. The aircraft in question will have 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 seats in Premium Economy, and 238 in Economy.
Once live, the 12th daily service to London will bring Emirates’ UK operations to 140 weekly flights to eight destinations: London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Emirates operates a mix of Airbus A350, A380, and Boeing 777 aircraft to these gateways.
