easyJet Confirms Direct Flights To Tbilisi From Next Year

The easy-on-the-pocket airline easyJet has announced an all-new route for next year’s summer. Starting April 1, 2025, the low-cost carrier will begin operating nonstop flights between London Luton and Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.Although the airliner has never offered this route, it does fly passengers to the Georgian capital from Geneva and Milan Malpensa. Tickets for the London-Tbilisi route are already available. To bolster flight operations from London Luton, easyJet has based an extra Airbus A320 jet, bringing the carrier’s fleet at the said hub to 25 A320 family aircraft.In addition to connections to major European cities such as Paris and Amsterdam, easyJet flies to various other leisure locations across the continent from London Luton. The list includes destinations in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt.Earlier this week, UK’s flag carrier British Airways announced direct flights to Tbilisi from London Heathrow.
