What is the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore?

The Panigale V4 Tricolore is Ducati’s limited-edition superbike honouring Italy’s racing legacy, with just 1,000 units worldwide. Draped in a mesmerising Tricolore livery designed by Aldo Drudi, an Italian designer, inspired by the 1984 Ducati 750 F1.

What are the key specifications and features?

The Panigale V4 Tricolore features exclusive, superior-grade components relative to the regular Panigale V4. While tricolore shares the same underpinnings as the regular V4, the difference lies in the materials of the parts thats makes up the platform – notably,  the wheels, fenders, chain guard, heel guards, swingarm cover, exhaust guard, and alternator cover are all crafted with carbon-fibre.

The Panigale V4 Tricolore incorporates a revises aluminum frame that sheds approximately 1.2kg relative to the regular frame seen on the standard Panigale V4. Paired with the carbon fibre components, the bike manages to weigh 2.6 kg lighter than the standard V4.

The bike rides on a fully adjustable Öhlins NPX30 with 125 mm travel at the rear and an Öhlins TTX36 S-EC 3.0 shock with electronic compression and rebound damping, with 130 mm travel mated to an aluminium hollow symmetrical swingarm at the rear.

Braking hardware is comprised of a Brembo T-Drive finned discs, first on a road bike.  With 338.5mm discs at the front with 4-piston Monobloc calliper and a 245 mm disc with 2-piston calliper, enhanced by Race eCBS and Engine Brake Control.

What performance electronics does it feature?

The Panigale V4 Tricolore comes equipped with Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), which governs traction, wheelie, slide control, Quickshifter, Power Launch, and Pit Limiter.

What’s included with the purchase?

 

On the purchase of the Panigale V4 Tricolore, buyers get a certificate of authenticity, a custom bike cover, and a presentation box. Optional accessories like a matching jacket are available, and as for certain track-focused parts such as quick releasefuel cap, brake cooling duct, open clutch cover, etc., come standard but aren’t road-legal.
