The British iconic Brands are present at the world’s most exhilarating Motor Sport event to showcase their latest models.
Starting with Defender, three dynamic models will make their global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10-13, 2025, with the Defender OCTA Black, 110 Trophy Edition, and the rally prototype Defender Dakar D7X-R.
The Defender OCTA Black is a bold, all-black interpretation of the high-performance SUV unleashing its 635bhp 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine on the iconic Goodwood hillclimb. The 110 Trophy Edition will follow this in a dramatic Deep Sand Yellow finish, designed for epic adventures with even bigger goals, such as the recently announced Defender Trophy Competition.
The latest Dakar Rally prototype, the D7X-R, will also be showcased in hillclimbs and off-road circuits.
The Defender is a key partner of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, which kicks off on August 22.
On the luxury side of things, Range Rover is celebrating 55 years of its iconic vehicles with a collection of its most iconic cars, including glimpses of the latest addition to the 615hp V8-powered Range Rover SV range.
The recently announced Range Rover SV Black Edition makes its debut at the Festival of Speed, complementing the lineup that now includes the iconic Range Rover SV Intrepid and Range Rover SV Serenity. Visitors to the stand will be able to hear more about Range Rover’s pioneering audio and wellness technologies available across all SV models, including the world’s first front and rear ergonomic seats and sensory floor in Range Rover models. The 635 hp Range Rover Sport SV Black will make its global debut at the hillclimb, featuring a black-painted carbon fibre hood, gloss black exterior finishes on the 23-inch forged alloy wheels, eight-piston Brembo brake callipers, and quad exhausts. Unlike limited edition models, it can be customised to meet individual customer needs.

Jaguar’s heritage at the Festival of Speed is represented by the iconic Jaguar XJS, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. To celebrate, a selection of prominent XJS models will participate in the Hill Climb for four test runs on Thursday, July 10.
