Chevrolet Launches Refreshed Blazer In The Middle East

Besides a few tweaks inside-out, the revised model is now available in the RS trim.

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer is now available in showrooms across the Middle East. In the UAE, the refreshed model has a starting price of AED 169,900. The revised model comes with tweaks inside-out and is now available in Camaro-inspired RS trim.

On the outside, the refreshed Blazer boasts a new front fascia and grille design. Complementing those changes are the revised LED headlamps, LED DRLs and taillamps. Also, buyers now get the option of two new exterior colours for the Chevrolet Blazer – Radiant Red and Sterling Grey Metal. As standard, the Blazer comes with 20-inch rims. However, the options list does have the option of 21-inch high-gloss black aluminium wheels. Indoors, the crossover is available with two new colour themes – Jet Black with Red leather accents and Jet Black and Nightshift Blue with perforated leather seats.

Under the bonnet is a 3.6-litre V6 engine that produces 308hp and a 366Nm of peak torque. Coupled with it is a 9-speed automatic transmission, which feeds the oomph to the front or all four wheels based on the derivative chosen.

Over to the features list. The refreshed Chevrolet Blazer offers heated and powered ORVMs, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, electrically-adjustable front seats, auto-dimming IRVM and an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster. The list also includes a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, multiple drive modes, two USB ports and support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety is top-notch, with features like a rear-view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, more than half-a-dozen airbags, Lane Change Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. And the updated Blazer comes with Chevrolet’s Safety Assist package as standard. That ropes in Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Land Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and automatic high beam.

So, there you have it. The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer looks great, has loads of kit and packs a real punch. Would you consider buying one over its rivals?
