Building the Dream: Bugatti and the LEGO Group Launch Two New Hypercar Sets

Bugatti and the LEGO Group expand their partnership with two new buildable icons inspired by the Chiron Pur Sport and Vision Gran Turismo.

The partnership between Bugatti and the LEGO Group continues to grow with the launch of two new buildable creations inspired by some of Bugatti’s most distinctive machines. The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and LEGO Speed Champions Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo extend the collaboration into new territory.

With these additions, four Bugatti LEGO models are now available simultaneously for the first time, joining the Centodieci and Bolide sets and offering enthusiasts multiple interpretations of Bugatti’s design and performance philosophy.

What Makes This Collaboration Unique?

Bugatti’s ethos has always centred on engineering excellence, innovation, and precision. LEGO’s Technic and Speed Champions platforms allow these principles to be translated into a mechanical, buildable form while remaining accessible to a global audience.

New Bugatti Lego Cars Launched

The expanded lineup allows Bugatti to showcase different sides of its identity, from production hypercars to concept vehicles, while engaging collectors, younger builders, and automotive enthusiasts alike.

The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport

The Chiron Pur Sport is the most dynamically focused variant of the Chiron family. Compared to other Chirons, it is lighter, features revised aerodynamics, and uses shorter transmission ratios to prioritise agility and driver engagement over outright top speed.

How is this reflected in the LEGO Technic model?

The LEGO Technic Chiron Pur Sport consists of 771 pieces and focuses on functional realism. It features working steering, opening doors and hood, and a detailed representation of Bugatti’s iconic W16 engine layout.

The completed model measures over 8 cm high, 29 cm long, and 13 cm wide. It is designed for builders aged 9 and above because it balances mechanical complexity with display appeal.

LEGO Speed Champions Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo

Introduced in 2015 as a digital-only concept for the Gran Turismo video game, the Vision Gran Turismo represents Bugatti’s interpretation of a modern racing machine inspired by its motorsport heritage from the 1920s and 1930s.

How does the LEGO set capture its design?

The Speed Champions set uses 284 pieces to recreate the Vision Gran Turismo’s dramatic proportions and aerodynamic features, including the horseshoe grille, roof fin, rear wing, and distinctive eight-eye headlight layout.

Wide tyres printed with Michelin branding and a Bugatti-themed driver minifigure seated in the single-seat cockpit reinforce the model’s motorsport identity.

What role does the LEGO Builder app play?

Both new sets are compatible with the LEGO Builder app, which provides digital instructions, 3D rotation, zoom functions, and progress tracking during the build process.

The digital tools simplify complex assemblies and enhance the overall building experience, particularly for younger builders and first-time Technic users.

Availability and Market Position

Both LEGO Bugatti models have been available globally since January 1. They are sold through the Bugatti online store, LEGO.com, and LEGO retail stores worldwide.
