The BMW R 1300 R Superhooligan is a one-off motorcycle created by BMW Motorrad’s Custom Speed Shop, based on the BMW R 1300 R roadster. Incorporating the R 1300 roadster’s chassis and engine, but with a heritage twist.
The one-off custom motorcycle is shrouded with racing livery, with racing graphics all around the bodywork, with starting number 83 taking centre stage, along with predominant orange front fenders and fuel tank, paying homage to the iconic 1976 BMW R 90 S.

BMW built the R 1300 R Superhooligan to pay tribute to their American racing heritage, specifically to Steve McLaughlin’s 1976 Daytona Superbike victory and the 1976 inaugural AMA Superbike Championship title, both achieved on the BMW R 90 S.

The Chassis boasts a fully adjustable Wilbers upside-down fork, a fully adjustable Wilbers rear suspension strut, a carbon front wheel from BMW M 1000RR, and adjustable hand levers from Advik with other subtle carbon fibre accents and parts.
