Bentley has officially launched the new Supersports model in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) market through a private event held in Dubai. The event was held in conjunction with the global launch of the Supersports.
What was the first time the Supersports was seen in the region?
The Supersports was first seen in the EMEA region at an exclusive event that took place in Dubai towards the end of last week. The launch vehicle was seen in a ‘Daybreak’ trim with Jetstream Matte paint and Arctica and Portofino details on the outside. The Supersports was placed at the venue as the guests arrived.
How was the film launch incorporated into the event?
At 21:00 local time, Supersports: FULL SEND was released on all of Bentley’s digital platforms worldwide while it was also screened on a 12m wide screen at the venue. The film is about a modified Supersports driving around the Crewe campus of Bentley. After that, the actual car from the film was driven into the event space by Pastrana.
Who attended the Dubai debut?
There were around 400 invited guests, including close to 100 Supersports customers. The event also saw Travis Pastrana, Bentley’s global brand ambassador, actor Lucien Laviscount, Bentley Chairman and CEO Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Board Member for Sales & Marketing Christophe Georges, among others. The event took place at the gardens of the former royal palace of Sheikha Sanaa Bint Mana Al Maktoum, located on Dubai’s coastline, with a backdrop of the Burj Al Arab.
What is shown in Supersports: FULL SEND?
The film was shot last September at Bentley’s factory and Dream Factory facilities in Crewe, England. The film shows Travis Pastrana driving a modified Supersports around and through the facility, emphasising its rear-wheel-drive layout, and new chassis and aerodynamic development. The film, according to Bentley, is a demonstration of agility and control within the historic confines of its original manufacturing facility, which dates back to 1938.
When will the customers be able to order the Supersports?
The order books for the Bentley Supersports will be opened in March, and production will start in the fourth quarter of 2026. The first customer vehicles will be delivered in early 2027. It will be available in a number of countries, such as the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and some countries in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
