Aston Martin has officially unveiled the livery of its 2026 Formula 1 challenger, the AMR26, marking the team’s first public step into the sport’s next technical era. The launch took place in Saudi Arabia, where the Silverstone-based outfit presented its new visual identity ahead of the 2026 season.
The event combined multiple elements reflecting the scale of Aston Martin’s ambitions for the upcoming regulation cycle. Alongside a presentation led by team leadership, the launch featured a technical Q&A with key partners, a dedicated reveal film, and a live musical performance. Swiss cellist Judok Vuille performed a selection of works by renowned composer Hans Zimmer, underscoring the significance of the occasion as the team prepares for one of the most important seasons in its modern Formula 1 history.
The AMR26 represents a pivotal milestone for Aston Martin Aramco. It is the first Formula 1 car to carry the design philosophy of Adrian Newey within the team’s structure and the first project developed under the direction of Technical Director Enrico Cardile. Together, their involvement signals a fundamental shift in how Aston Martin approaches car design and long-term competitiveness.
Beyond its technical leadership, the 2026 season also marks Aston Martin’s transition to full factory team status. Through its partnership with Honda, the team gains increased integration between chassis and power unit development under Formula 1’s new regulations. This alignment offers greater design freedom and a broader development scope as the sport introduces revised aerodynamic rules and next-generation power units.

With the AMR26 livery now revealed, Aston Martin’s focus turns to on-track preparation and validation. As Formula 1 moves into a reset defined by sweeping regulatory change, the AMR26 stands as the visual and technical foundation of Aston Martin’s ambitions for the seasons ahead.
