The UAE’s pickup truck market will soon see the introduction of a potent player in a thoroughly upgraded form – the all-new Mitsubishi L200. The model made its country debut during an event hosted by Al Habtoor Motors, the authorised distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in the UAE. Besides the Managing Director and Sales Director of Al Habtoor Motors, several high-ranked employees at Mitsubishi Motors Middle East and Africa FZE also attended the unveiling ceremony.
For the moment, the complete set of details is under wraps. However, the all-new Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck features a thoroughly reengineered chassis, the brand’s Super Select 4WD-II system, increased ground clearance, and seven drive modes to tackle varied terrains such as sand, gravel, rocky, and others.
The all-new Mitsubishi L200 comes equipped with a range of safety and assistance systems like Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Blind-Spot Warning, and an around-view monitor. The pickup also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, meaning the occupants don’t need to bother themselves with tangled wires (that’s always the case!) or to reach the correct input port.
