One of India’s fastest-growing airlines, Akasa Air, has announced that Dibrugarh will be its newest destination. Joining the airline’s expanding network, the city in Assam is also known as the “Tea City of India”. Flights are scheduled to start on February 1, 2026, and when they do, Dibrugarh will become the 26th domestic and 32nd overall destination for Akasa Air.
The airline will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The service will connect Dibrugarh with direct flights to and from Bagdogra. Moreover, passengers can travel to and from Bengaluru without having to change aircraft at Bagdogra.

From the beginning of February next year, flight QP 1850 will depart from Bengaluru at 05:25 and arrive in Bagdogra at 08:20. After 35 minutes, at 08:55, the same flight will resume its journey to Dibrugarh, where it will land at 10:25. The return leg, flight QP 1851, will fly out of Dibrugarh at 11:15 and arrive in Bagdogra at 12:45. Again, post a halt of 35 minutes, the same aircraft bearing the same flight number will depart from Bagdogra at 13:20 and will land in Karnataka’s capital at 16:25.
Akasa Air is accepting bookings for flights to and from Dibrugarh. Those interested can get them done through the airline’s official website and mobile application, as well as authorised third-party channels.
