airBaltic To Offer New Routes And More Flights This Summer

The schedule totals nearly 100 routes.

Latvian airline airBaltic has shared some insights into its research work, which aimed to improve the planning of its summer schedule. The carrier claims travellers are seeking sunny leisure destinations and city getaways this summer. The list includes Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, London, Malaga, Paris, and Tirana. Moreover, business travel is on the rise from the Baltic States.

As a result, the airline has decided to add more flights to 14 existing routes from the Baltics, extending service to Düsseldorf, and introducing new services from Tallinn to Reykjavík (Iceland), Palma de Mallorca (Spain), and Tirana (Albania), as well as from Vilnius to Prague (Czech Republic) and Tirana (Albania).

One of the most sought-after destinations from the Baltic States is Amsterdam. During this year’s summer, airBaltic will operate three daily flights from Riga, two daily services from Tallinn and as many from Vilnius to the capital of the Netherlands.

airBaltic operates an all-Airbus A220-300 fleet that turned 50-jet strong last month. The airline offers Business Class and Economy sections for all its flights. Additionally, the Riga-headquartered carrier is the first in Europe to provide free SpaceX Starlink internet on board, a service it plans to extend to its entire fleet by the end of the year.
