In case you’re unaware, the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is all set to commence operations from December 25, 2025. That’s also the date when Air India Express launches its operations at the newly constructed airport. Here’s what the low-cost airline has planned:
- Bengaluru to Navi Mumbai: Flight starts at 06:00 and lands at 08:10.
- Navi Mumbai to Bengaluru: Flight starts at 08:55 and lands at 10:50.
- Delhi to Navi Mumbai: Flight starts at 11:15 and lands at 13:25.
- Navi Mumbai to Delhi: Flight starts at 14:05 and lands at 16:20.
Air India Express will operate daily flights between Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai, while those between Delhi and Navi Mumbai will operate on five days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, additional services will launch on January 1, 2026. Here’s the plan:
- Delhi to Navi Mumbai: Flight starts at 06:00 and lands at 08:20.
- Navi Mumbai to Delhi: Flight starts at 09:00 and lands at 11:10.
- Bengaluru to Navi Mumbai: Flight starts at 16:55 and lands at 18:55.
- Navi Mumbai to Bengaluru: Flight starts at 19:35 and lands at 21:35.
The Air India Express flights, which are scheduled to launch on New Year’s Day, will operate once daily from Navi Mumbai to Bengaluru and Delhi.
The commencement of operations from NMIA will increase Air India Express’ presence across Maharashtra. In addition to operating over 130 weekly flights from Mumbai and more than 90 weekly services from Pune, the airline will also launch flights from Nagpur from December 1, 2025. It will be a twice-daily nonstop flight service with the carrier’s largest hub, Bengaluru, at the other end.
