AerCap To Lease Ten New Narrowbody Jets To Turkish Airlines

Dublin-based aviation leasing company AerCap and Turkey’s flag carrier, Turkish Airlines, have signed an aircraft leasing agreement. According to the paperwork, the former will lease ten new Airbus A321neo jets to the latter.

Turkish Airlines, one of the oldest in the world and with a fleet of over 450 aircraft (passenger and cargo), will strengthen its short—and medium-haul network with the ten single-aisle aircraft leased from AerCap. The bolstered fleet will also allow the carrier to add new destinations to its portfolio.

The details about delivery have not been shared yet. That said, the aircraft in question is among the most popular worldwide, providing operational efficiencies and cost reduction over the previous-gen jets.
