Honda Introduces New ADV125 Crossover Scooter at EICMA 2026

Honda introduces the new ADV125 crossover scooter at EICMA 2026, featuring a 125cc liquid-cooled engine, adventure-inspired styling, a TFT display with RoadSync connectivity and rider-focused technology.

Honda has expanded its crossover adventure scooter range by introducing the ADV125 at EICMA 2026. It is a smaller entry-level iteration of its ADV scooter line-up developed for urban commuting and mild off-road riding, taking its design inspiration from the larger X-ADV and ADV350. The new scooter combines adventure-inspired styling with practical equipment, smartphone connectivity and a liquid-cooled engine.

What engine powers the Honda ADV125?

A 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve eSP+ engine with electronic fuel injection powers the new ADV125 scooter. The engine produces 12.3 hp, while peak torque is rated at 11.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The scooter also features Honda’s Idling Stop system, which automatically switches off the engine when the vehicle comes to stationary.

What design and chassis features does the Honda ADV125 get?

The ADV embraces a design influenced by Honda’s larger adventure-style scooter, integrating the two distinct segments into one, combining an adventure motorcycle’s ruggedness with a useful scooter design. Its styling includes a raised front section, protective bodywork and block-pattern tyres, giving it a more rugged appearance than a conventional urban scooter.

The ADV scooter is built around a steel tubular underbone frame and rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear cast wheels. Suspension duties are handled by a 31mm Showa telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The ground clearance is rated at 165 mm, and the scooter weighs 133 kg.

What technology and convenience features are available?

The Honda ADV125 comes equipped with a 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, enabling functions such as navigation, calls and music.

Other convenience features include Honda Smart Key operation, LED lighting and a USB Type-C charging port. The windscreen can be manually adjusted through a 75mm range to suit different riding conditions.

The ADC125 offers typical scooter practicality such as a 29-litre under-seat compartment and a 2-litre front glovebox. To further improve practicality, Honda also lists a 40-litre Smart Top Box and heated grips among the available accessories.

What safety features does the Honda ADV125 offer?

The Honda ADV125 scooter comes equipped with a front-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and an Emergency Stop Function, which activates hazard indicators under sudden braking. The braking hardware includes a 240mm front disc with a two-piston Nissin calliper.

When will the Honda ADV125 be available, and what is its price?

Honda introduced the ADV125 as part of its 2027 European line-up at EICMA 2026. In the UK, Honda lists the scooter at £3,799.
