Navnit Maserati: The Trident now has a new home in Mumbai

• Navnit Maserati has opened at the Trade Centre, BKC, as the brand's main retail hub for Mumbai and Western India. • CEO Santo Ficili led the launch on his first India visit, and four models also made their India debut there. • The 2027 range runs from INR 1.14 crore for the Grecale to INR 5.72 crore for the GT2 Stradale (ex-showroom).

What is Navnit Maserati?

Navnit Maserati is open for business at the Trade Centre, BKC. Maserati formally launched the showroom on 30 October. The opening builds on a partnership that Maserati and the Navnit Group announced earlier this year. The showroom now serves as the brand’s main retail hub for Mumbai and Western India. There, clients will find the complete Maserati portfolio and manufacturer-approved aftersales service. A dedicated Fuoriserie area also lets them personalise their cars.

Santo Ficili, CEO of Maserati and Alfa Romeo, led the launch during his first visit to India. Sharad Kachalia, Chairman and Managing Director of Navnit Maserati, joined him. Together, they outlined their plans for the brand in Mumbai and across Western India.

Which four models made their India debut at the Navnit Maserati launch?

Four models shared the stage at the launch. The new Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio made their India debut there as 2027 models. The GT2 Stradale also arrived in India for the first time.

All three core models get a sharper front end, a racing-inspired steering wheel and an updated digital clock. Fuoriserie widens the colour and trim choices, too, and GranCabrio buyers can now fully personalise the soft top. For every change in detail, read our story on the 2027 Maserati line-up update.

What do the 2027 Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio cost in India?

In India, the Grecale SUV comes in five versions. The four-cylinder mild-hybrid Grecale makes 300 hp and costs INR 1.14 crore. The Grecale Modena also uses that layout, with 330 hp, for INR 1.29 crore. Those four-cylinder versions are still on sale in India, but not in every market. Above them, the new Grecale Modena V6 brings a 390 hp Nettuno-derived V6 for INR 1.39 crore. The 550 hp all-electric Folgore costs INR 1.90 crore, and the 530 hp Trofeo INR 2 crore.

The GranTurismo coupé and GranCabrio convertible each come in three versions. In its entry form, the GranTurismo uses a 490 hp twin-turbo V6 Nettuno and costs INR 2.62 crore. The GranTurismo Trofeo raises that to 590 hp, for INR 2.80 crore. At the top sits the 761 hp GranTurismo Folgore, which costs INR 3.14 crore. It uses three electric motors, and its WLTP range grows by 80 km, to more than 540 km.

The GranCabrio follows the same pattern, but at a higher price. Its 490 hp version costs INR 2.91 crore, and the 590 hp Trofeo costs INR 3.10 crore. Meanwhile, the 761 hp all-electric GranCabrio Folgore costs INR 3.30 crore. All prices are ex-showroom.

What makes the Maserati GT2 Stradale special?

The GT2 Stradale is a road-legal take on the GT2, the car that brought Maserati back to covered-wheel racing. Maserati builds it in Modena, and its Nettuno V6 sends all 640 hp to the rear wheels. The result is 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h. Maserati also quotes up to 500 kg of downforce. In fact, the brand calls it the most track-focused car in its line-up. Its arrival, Maserati says, shows how keen the brand is to offer its most driver-focused car in India. It is also the priciest car on Maserati India’s price list, at INR 5.72 crore (ex-showroom).

Where does the Maserati MCPURA fit in?

The MCPURA family shares the top of the range with the GT2 Stradale. That means two cars: the MCPURA coupé and the MCPURA Cielo convertible. Both also use a Nettuno V6 that, Maserati says, brings F1-derived technology to a production car. Each makes 630 hp and 720 Nm, and reaches 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The coupé exceeds 325 km/h, while the Cielo goes beyond 320 km/h. In India, the MCPURA costs INR 4.35 crore and the MCPURA Cielo costs INR 5.20 crore (ex-showroom).

What does the Navnit Maserati opening mean for India?

Ficili sees India as more than a market with big potential. To him, it is a strategic chapter in luxury’s future, shaped by a new generation of buyers. Those buyers, he adds, have a keen eye for performance, craftsmanship and individuality. The Navnit partnership and the new range, he says, underline Maserati’s long-term commitment to the country. During the trip, Ficili also met key dealer partners, reviewed Maserati’s India strategy and spent time with media and clients.

Maher Abdalla is Managing Director of Maserati MEA, India & Turkey. He says Maserati’s India strategy rests on sustainable growth, selective network expansion, and an elevated client experience. Opening Navnit Maserati, he explains, gives the brand a stronger base for clients across Western India. Together with the new range and Ficili’s visit, it marks an important step in Maserati’s long-term investment in India, he says.

Kachalia, meanwhile, calls it an honour to represent the brand in Mumbai and across Western India. His goal, he says, is world-class sales and service that suit the Trident’s character. He also expects Indian clients to respond strongly to Maserati’s next chapter.
