The new palette updates aim to revitalise excitement for the Z900 model while remaining mechanically familiar for new potential customers.

For the 2027 model year, the Kawasaki Z900 is offered in three new colour combinations: Ebony with Metallic Carbon Grey, Candy Persimmon Red with Metallic Carbon Grey and Pearl Blizzard White with Plasma Lime Green and Ebony.

The 2027 Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC inline-four engine with electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle valves. The engine produces about 122 hp at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm, paired to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox, with a bidirectional quickshifter.

It is equipped with an IMU-enhanced ABS with cornering function, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), a three-mode Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC), selectable power modes, integrated riding modes, and electronic cruise control.
All necessary rider information is displayed on a 5-inch TFT colour screen with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and voice command via the RIDEOLOGY app.
Additional features include a bidirectional Kawasaki Quick Shifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, full LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp and indicators, and keyless ignition.

The 2027 Kawasaki Z900 continues to come built around a high-tensile steel trellis frame designed to balance rigidity and feedback for agile handling. The suspension setup includes a fully adjustable 41mm inverted front fork paired with a horizontal back-link monoshock at the rear, which also offers rebound and preload adjustment.
Braking is handled by dual semi-floating 300 mm front discs with radial-mount four-piston callipers and a single 250 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper, assisted by IMU powered cornering ABS.
