What is the 2026 Bajaj Avenger Street 220?
The 2026 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is a cruiser motorcycle from the Indian brand, derived from the classic Avenger Cruise 220 and offering a modern, urban-focused alternative.
While the Street 220 shares the same mechanical platform and the same low 737mm seat height with forward-set footpegs as the Cruise 220, the Street 220 offers a slight change in the rider ergonomics by incorporating a flatter streetfighter-esque handlebar, allowing for a much more nimble and commanding posture, making it easier to navigate the 160kg cruiser through city traffic.
Additionally, the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 features a tall front windshield for wind deflection at high speeds. In contrast, the Street 220 replaces the tall windshield with a short flyscreen to suit its sporty city-focused design.

As for the braking department, the roadster comes with a 280mm front disc with a 130mm rear drum brake with single-channel ABS.
What Powers the Bajaj Avenger Street 220?
The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is powered by a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled DTS-i engine. The 220cc single-cylinder produces 19.03 PS at 8,500 rpm and 17.55 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, and power is delivered to the rear wheel by a five-speed manual gearbox.
