Mercedes-Benz has launched the updated version of the 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, featuring exterior design changes, improved technology, and the availability of different engines, including the V12, depending on the region.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the updated version of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, which follows the recent facelift of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The company has incorporated several changes to the exterior, interior, and engines of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

What Design Changes Have Been Introduced?

Mercedes-Benz has introduced several exterior changes to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, including the front grille, which is now about 20% larger, featuring illuminated parts, as well as the illuminated wordmark on the rear. The company has also introduced illuminated Maybach logos on the air intakes, wheels, the emblem on the rear, the emblem on the C-pillar, and the illuminated three-pointed star on the hood.

Changes have also been made in the lighting components, which now feature a recurring three-pointed star motif in the headlights and taillights. New paint colours are also added, which increase the variety of colours to over 150, including two-tone colours, and a new Nautic Blue colour.

How Has the Interior and Technology Been Updated?

As in the previous model, the focus for the interior of the car remains on the comfort and customisation of the rear seats. Over 400 interior colour combinations are available, with new two-tone upholstery styles.

A three-screen setup for the dashboard includes a 14.4-inch screen for the centre, a 12.3-inch screen for the instrument panel, and a 12.3-inch screen for the passenger side. Dual 13.1-inch screens are also provided for the rear passengers, with separate controls for infotainment and comfort functions.

Other features include ambient lighting with 199 LEDs and 64 different colours, powered rear doors, and increased wheelbase dimensions for greater legroom. Other updates include enhanced sound insulation and an air suspension system that adjusts damping in real-time.

What Driver Assistance Features Are Available?

This model will feature the MB.Drive Assist Pro system, which provides Level 2 driver assistance capabilities. This will be recognisable by cameras on the front fenders.
This will be available in China, followed by the US, with availability in Europe pending regulatory approval.
