When and where was it unveiled?
First revealed in August 2025, the new 911 Cup has now premiered at the DRVN by Porsche café in Dubai, ahead of the third round of the 2025/26 Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East at the Dubai Autodrome. Drivers, teams and VIP guests attended the exclusive preview before its rollout later this year.
How has performance and design improved?
The car is based on the 992.2 Porsche 911, developed to boost performance, reduce operating costs and simplify handling. Its naturally aspirated 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine now produces 382 kW (520 PS), 10 PS more than before, and includes an automatic restart function for racing usability.
Visually, the car takes cues from the 992.2 GT3 with a redesigned front end, adapted bodywork and improved aerodynamics. The braking system has been upgraded with 380-millimetre front discs, thicker for larger cooling channels and better heat dissipation.
