BEDA’A has unveiled the Eclipse Qatar Limited Edition – a watch that celebrates Qatar’s National Day. It is based on the brand’s Eclipse, an alternative time-display watch that was nominated for the Challenge Prize at the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).

Hours – indicated by a disc inside the aperture on the celestial shield. Minutes – indicated by the “floating” arrow. Seconds – 10-seconds counter positioned discreetly on the hours aperture. Winding and time-setting via the crown at 3 o’clock.

Multi-layered dial with x ‘celestial shield.’ Frosted finish.
“The shield itself floats just beneath the sapphire crystal, creating a tactile connection and a play of light evocative of an eclipse’s corona. Beneath this architectural dial lies the Sellita SW300 automatic movement, visible through a sapphire case back.”

Powered by Sellita SW300, an automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, and seconds. Frequency: 28,800 vph or 4 Hz. Power reserve: 56 hours.
Case
Made from 904L stainless steel. Diameter: 37 mm. Thickness: 8.1 mm. Front and caseback feature a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 3 ATM or 30 metres. Watch comes with a maroon-coloured alligator leather strap fitted to a pin buckle.
