Echo Smart Speakers: Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio
Amazon’s new Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio are designed to deliver better sound in smaller, smarter packages.
Echo Dot Max
The latest Echo Dot Max is the most potent version to date. It features two speakers for the first time, a woofer that produces deep bass and a tweeter for crisp high notes. Compared to the Echo Dot (5th gen), it offers nearly three times the bass. The speaker is integrated into the device’s body, providing more room for sound. This design makes the Dot Max both compact and powerful, capable of filling a room with adaptive sound.
Echo Studio
The Echo Studio is 40 per cent smaller than its predecessor but promises improved sound quality. It features a woofer and three full-range drivers that support spatial audio and Dolby Atmos, producing an immersive surround sound experience. Its round shape, combined with 3D-knit fabric, delivers clear audio, while the updated light ring provides visual feedback. Both models are equipped with Amazon’s new AZ3 and AZ3 Pro chips, which enhance Alexa’s speed, voice recognition, and readiness for Alexa+, the upcoming AI assistant launching soon in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Echo Smart Displays: Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11
Amazon has also upgraded its smart displays with the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. These devices offer improved visuals, enhanced sound, and smarter AI features.
Better Displays
The new screens feature in-cell touch and negative-liquid-crystal technology for sharper images and wider viewing angles. With over a million pixels and a 13MP camera, video calls are clearer and more natural. The displays adapt to various lighting conditions, looking good in both bright and dark spaces.
Improved Sound
Both models include front-facing stereo speakers and a custom woofer. The sound is directed forward, making music, calls, and videos clearer and more immersive.
Design and Extras
The Echo Show 8 and 11 have a modern look and can be paired with an adjustable stand (sold separately). The stand allows users to tilt the screen to the best angle.
Smarter Alexa
The devices use the AZ3 Pro chip and Amazon’s Omnisense sensor platform, which combines camera, audio, ultrasound, and WiFi radar signals to make Alexa more personal and proactive, allowing more natural responses and environmental adaptation.
Ring Cameras and Doorbells: 2K and 4K Lineup
Ring has introduced its inaugural line of 4K cameras and doorbells, setting new standards for home security.
Retinal Vision Technology
The new devices utilise Retinal Vision, an AI system that renders video closer to real life, sharpening each frame for clearer details, even in low-light conditions.
Outdoor Security
The Spotlight Cam Pro and Floodlight Cam Pro both include Retinal 4K resolution, up to 10x zoom, and Low-Light Sight for colour video during nighttime. The Spotlight Cam Pro offers 600-lumen lights, suitable for smaller spaces like patios, whereas the Floodlight Cam Pro provides 2000-lumen lights, designed for larger areas such as driveways.
Advanced Monitoring
The Wired Video Doorbell Pro and Outdoor Camera Pro use Retinal 4K, Adaptive Night Vision, and 3D motion detection, making it easier to see visitors and track movement in harsh conditions.
Indoor and Entryway Options
The Wired Video Doorbell Plus and Indoor Camera Plus use Retinal 2K with up to 4x zoom, providing clear, colourful video in low light for reliable everyday indoor use.
Availability
Amazon’s latest Echo devices, the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11, are scheduled to go on sale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia by the end of 2025. Ring’s Outdoor Camera Pro will debut later this year, while the remaining new Ring products will be released in early 2026.
