Heat, dust and glory. Automobili Amos is heading to Kenya to tackle one of the toughest endurance rallies in the world – the East African Safari Rally, running from 5–13 December 2025. Partnering with Italian lifestyle brand SEASE, the team will field a Ferrari 308 prepared entirely in-house, complete with a bespoke livery and a dedicated team kit.
A Legendary Challenge in Kenya
Often described as the “world’s toughest rally”, the East African Safari Rally is an endurance marathon across more than 3,000 km of Kenya’s wilderness. Only two-wheel-drive cars built before 1985 are eligible, ensuring a grid of classic machines tackling fine red dust, jumps, river crossings and unpredictable weather. It’s an event that tests speed, reliability and endurance in equal measure.
Eugenio Amos (Co-founder and driver of Automobili Amos), who won the event in 2023 at the wheel of a Porsche, returns with a new ambition: to beat the long-time Porsche dominance with a Ferrari 308 built and prepared by Automobili Amos. The team has spent more than a year designing and testing the car for the punishing conditions of Kenya’s gravel roads.
Amos said, “The Safari Rally has always been an extreme challenge, pushing driver, teams, and cars to their limits. Together with SEASE we have translated this spirit into a project shaped by emotion, authentic imperfections, and great passion – something I am proud to bring with me into the African dust.”

SEASE Brings Its Lifestyle Vision
Founded by brothers Franco and Giacomo Loro Piana, SEASE shares Automobili Amos’ passion for authentic experiences and high-performance design. The brand becomes the title sponsor for the Safari Rally entry, creating both the team’s kit and the car’s livery.
The dark green base colour of the Ferrari is accented with sharp orange graphics, highlighting its sporting character. At the same time, desert-toned panels pay tribute to Solaro, an iconic SEASE fabric rooted in British military tailoring and designed to reflect the sun’s rays. The two brands’ logos merge into “SEAASE” on the car, alongside the marks of other partners.
“It is the spirit of this competition – a mix of passion, adventure, and exploration – that makes this rally so fascinating and so aligned with the values and philosophy of SEASE. The drivers are true pioneers, collectors of unique cars driven by the desire to share authentic experiences in the wild.”, Franco Loro Piana added.

First Look Before Africa
The Ferrari 308 will be unveiled to the public on 10 September at the Tutto Bene event on Mount Mottarone – the only chance to see it before the car ships to Africa. From 5 December, fans can follow the nine-stage rally live on the social channels of Automobili Amos and SEASE as the team takes on the East African Safari Rally’s brutal terrain.
