Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines Announce A New Codeshare Agreement

Set to go live next month, it will boost flight options between Singapore and Vietnam.

More choice for travellers

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Vietnam Airlines have signed a new codeshare agreement, effective October 26, 2025. Tickets will be available from October 10 through both airlines’ sales channels and travel agents.

Details of the agreement

Under the arrangement, SIA will codeshare on Vietnam Airlines flights between Singapore and Hanoi, as well as between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City. In return, Vietnam Airlines will codeshare on SIA flights between Singapore and Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City. All flights are subject to regulatory approval.

Strengthening partnership

The two airlines stated that the agreement strengthens their partnership and will enhance connectivity for customers. They also plan to explore adding more destinations and expanding commercial cooperation in the future.

Nguyen Quang Trung, Director of Corporate Planning and Development at Vietnam Airlines, said the deal enhances connectivity and supports the airline’s goal of aligning with world-class service standards.

Dai Haoyu, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning at Singapore Airlines, said the partnership will give customers more choice and seamless transfers, while also supporting tourism and economic growth between Singapore and Vietnam.
