BMW introduces the first series-produced Neue Klasse model. The new-generation BMW iX3 is a fully electric SUV.
One of the distinctive elements of the digital user experience in the new BMW iX3 is the BMW Panoramic iDrive system.

BMW Group will manufacture the first Neue Klasse model at its newly built plant in Debrecen, Hungary. The company will begin producing the BMW iX3 50 xDrive — the first model of this fully electric SUV — in autumn 2025.
The launch of the new BMW iX3 also marks a milestone in the transition to electrification, digitalisation, and circularity. Led by the arrival of the Neue Klasse, this vehicle offers customers the latest design and technological innovations. BMW will incorporate Neue Klasse technologies into a total of 40 new models and model updates by 2027.
Measuring 4,782 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, the new BMW iX3 has the distinctive proportions of an SUV. Its distinctive two-box design gives it the powerful appearance of a BMW X model, featuring precise lines that emphasise all four wheels.

The load capacity of the new BMW iX3 can be increased from 520 litres to a maximum of 1,750 litres by folding the rear seat backrest as required. The maximum trailer load of the new BMW iX3 50 xDrive is 2,000 kg.
Inside, this vehicle was designed specifically for electric cars, offering exceptionally generous space for all five seats. The lines of the “floating” instrument panel flow directly into the large door panels, creating a sense of envelopment that envelops the passengers. It features a fabric roof, large window surfaces, and an optional panoramic sunroof with comfort glass, as well as the new BMW Panoramic iDrive control and operating system, based on the newly developed BMW X operating system.

Customers can select the new BMW iX3 with the M Sport Package or M Sport Pro Package at launch.
The sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology, developed for the New Class, includes highly efficient electric motors, all-new high-voltage batteries with cylinder cells, and 800-volt technology.
The BMW iX3 50 xDrive is powered by two electric motors, which together generate 469 hp and 645 Nm of torque. It accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 kmph.

For charging, the new BMW iX3 can be filled with enough energy at an 800-volt DC fast-charging station to add a range of up to 372 km in just ten minutes. The high-voltage battery can charge from 10 to 80% of its capacity in 21 minutes.
