Functions
The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon’s functions include:
– Hours and Minutes.
– Ultra-light Tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock. “The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon features a tourbillon equipped with an extraordinarily lightweight cage rotating every thirty seconds, comprising a total of 63 components.”  30 seconds indicator is positioned on the tourbillon cage.
– Power reserve indicator on caseback.

Dial
The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon’s dial features include:
– The skeletonized hour and minute hands are made of polished titanium.
– Its outer dial features a titanium hour ring, showcasing a blued microlight decoration. The 11 circular hour-markers are polished. At 12 o’clock, the slightly larger hour-marker denotes “60”. At 6 o’clock, the horizontal marker denotes “Seconds”, a reference to the tourbillon’s 30 seconds.
– Its inner dial features a circular blued grade-5 titanium satin-finished minutes and seconds ring.
– Ultra-light De Bethune tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock.
– It features a bridge cover on the barrel, and the triangle shaped central bridge is made of blued polished grade-5 titanium and features a blued drawn chamfered contour.
– The triangle shaped bridge features a Milky Way pattern, produced by laser beam micro milling. It is gilded and features 24K gold leaf.

The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon’s case and strap features and patent include:
– It features a blued polished grade-5 titanium case with “microlight” case middle.
– Its case diameter is 43 mm and case thickness is 9.1 mm.
– It features blued polished grade-5 titanium floating lugs. De Bethune Patent (2006).
– On its dial side, it features a sapphire crystal (1,800 Vickers hardness) with double anti-reflective coating.
– Its screwed caseback is made of blued polished titanium. It features an “open on a linear power reserve indicator”.

– It comes with an extra-supple alligator leather strap with alligator leather lining and features a pin buckle made of blued grade-5 titanium.

– It comprises of 380 parts and has 40 jewels.
– It beats at a frequency of 36,000 vph or 5 Hz.
