Abu Dhabhi’s RoyalJet Turns 20

RoyalJet, an Abu Dhabi-based private jet operator, has completed 20 years of operations. Over the years, the carrier has made its mark in various respects. For instance, RoyalJet became the world’s first private jet operator to bag the IOSA certification in 2008. Also, it was recognised as the “World’s Leading Private Jet Charter” by the World Travel Awards (WTA) for eight consecutive years between 2007 and 2014. After a gap, RoyalJet reclaimed the same title by WTA for four years in a row – 2018-2021.

The airline’s on-ground operations weren’t overlooked. For three consecutive years – 2022-2024 – RoyalJet was awarded the “FBO of the Year” by Aviation Achievement Awards. The FBO (Fixed Base Operations) is at the Zayed International Airport. The standout aspect is the VIP lounge, which has won awards for its luxurious and comforting experience.

With more than 500 employees, RoyalJet has a fleet of 11 Boeing Business Jets. Most pack features such as high-speed Wi-Fi, full-service galleys and lie-flat seating. However, there are also specialised aircraft equipped to serve Medevac operations.
