A Legendary Legacy: From 1927 to Today
The original 1000 Miglia was conceived on 2 December 1926 by Giovanni Canestrini, Franco Mazzotti, Aymo Maggi and Renzo Castagneto, designed as a daring 1600km open-road endurance race from Brescia to Rome and back. The inaugural event took place on 26 March 1927 and was famously won by Ferdinando Minoja and Giuseppe Morandi in the Brescia-built OM 665 Superba after an astonishing 21 hours, 4 minutes and 48 seconds.
Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has evolved into the world’s most important regularity rally for historic cars, yet it has preserved the spirit, beauty and romance of its origins. The famed Red Arrow still crosses Italy’s most charming regions and upholds the event’s core values: Uniqueness, Experience, Passion, Excellence, Tradition and Innovation.
In today’s Mille Miglia, competitors navigate public roads using a roadbook, passing through control points and tackling precision time trials, all while thousands of spectators line the route to witness some of the rarest and most iconic cars ever built in motion.

The 1000 Miglia Experience UAE brings this legendary rally to Middle Eastern soil, inviting owners of landmark automobiles, from pre-war racing masterpieces to modern-day supercars, to embark on a world-class, multi-day journey across the Emirates and neighbouring Oman.
Across four days, participants follow a route that unveils the full spectrum of the UAE’s natural and architectural splendour.
The Cars: The Stars of the Event
The Mille Miglia Experience UAE celebrates automotive excellence across three distinct categories, each representing a different chapter in motoring history.
1) 1000 Miglia Class: For cars produced from 1927 to 1957, eligible for the original Mille Miglia in Italy.
2) Classic Icons: Historic models built up to 1980, preserved in period-correct condition and representing the golden age of automotive design.
3) Contemporary Icons: Post-1980 masterpieces, including modern supercars and exceptional models of significant pedigree.

Opening Day – Dubai

Leg 2 – Oman → Ras Al Khaimah
Crossing borders into the serene, mountainous landscapes of Oman before returning to the Emirates.
Leg 3 – Ras Al Khaimah → Abu Dhabi
A journey through the northern emirates, leading toward the UAE’s majestic capital.
Leg 4 – Abu Dhabi → Dubai
A triumphant return to Dubai, concluding the event in true Mille Miglia fashion.
